On the afternoon of your arrival you will be met by one of our resident coaches who will give you an overview of the three day course. This is followed by your first golf lesson which will include an assessment of equipment, analysis of your swing and application of ‘the fundamentals of the golf swing’.
The second day focus will be predominantly on the shot game which for most golfers is an intimidating aspect of the game.
The two hour session will be conducted on the putting green focusing on ‘the art of putting and chipping’. By the end of session the golfer will have full understanding of the fundamentals of these two key golfing skills, what to look for when in and around the green, club selection and ‘best practice’ to get the most out of your practice sessions at home.
The final day will focus on the further short game areas of pitching and bunker player. Both skills are classed as the ‘scoring areas’ of the game whereby rules of these shots, shot/club selection and application will be discussed.
The remainder of this session is spent in putting all the aspects of the three days together and gives the opportunity to play a few holes whilst looking at course management and to cover any underlying questions that you may have from any part of the course.
On the afternoon of your arrival you will be met by one of our resident coaches who will meet, greet and put all your concerns to rest. Your swing will then be assessed and recorded from different angles (if wished to do so). Your swing will be broken down into separate images allowing the PGA Professional to highlight good areas and those that requirement improvement.
Difficult lies and those troublesome shots are the focus of today’s two hour session. Awkward lies such as ball above/below the feet, plugged lies in the bunker and high shots will be some of the shots covered. In addition to these areas, any areas of the short game the clients could be looked at.
Your coach will spend some time examining your swing further and take your swing on a further stage to assist in its further development.
The remainder of today’s session will be spent out on the course, putting into practice what has been learnt over the three days.
|You will meet your PGA Professional coach who will carry out an initial evaluation of all aspects of your golf. This will lead to a personalised work programme and enable us to structure the course to your specific needs. |
From here, Day two and three will be derived and specific areas for improvement will be identified.
All items covered will be recorded and a work programme will be constructed enabling you to continue improving your game after your visit to the resort.
